Victoria van de Meeberg - Marketing

 

Victoria joins us from Indonesia where she was contracted for two years to publish and edit an English lifestyle magazine.  She has had a variety of experience in the marketing field from Property Development to Magazine publishing. 

 

Victoria has always wanted to become a local in Margaret River and decided on her return from Indonesia the time was right!  To gain experience in the Wine industry, she spends time in the cellar door and believes this is an integral part of understanding what the public want, the trends which will determine customer purchase decisions. 

 

Consistent sales are achieved only by appropriate strategic planning.  The challenge of course, is to find a way to compete with the more well known brands and more litres of wine than ever seen in our short vinous history.  The right brand with the appropriate image at the appropriate price, from the most fashionable region makes the task reasonably easy. 

 

Keeping an open mind and exploring the various marketing methods and strategies in the wine industry is the key.  After all let’s be honest if you receive a phone call from a wine rep it’s not put in the category of “just another sales call” it’s more like you have just received a call from your best friend!
